Our Marina

Set in beautiful surroundings, a park and private woodland on one side and an award-winning housing development on the other, you would be hard pressed to find a more picturesque marina in England.

The marina is situated a 10 minute cruise down the river from Abingdon-on-Thames town centre. The town itself has a great selection of pubs and restaurants, as well as a wealth of historic buildings including Abingdon Abbey, the Old County Hall, St Helen’s Church and Wharf to name a few.

We are perfectly situated for Oxford and The Cotswolds as well as all the pretty towns and villages of the Thames Valley. For further information, give us a call today.

We also offer short, long-term and seasonal moorings to help cater for your requirements, but unfortunately we cannot offer residential moorings, and for very short term please note that moorings are free of charge for three nights in the town centre.

Security

Abingdon Marina is a ‘key holders only’ marina and the access gates to the moorings are kept locked. However, all berth holders and some service providers have keys. Visitors wishing to gain access can do so by ringing the office from the gate (telephone number is on the gate signage).

We also feel it is important that our moorers should have no worries about leaving their vehicle parked here whilst staying overnight or away cruising, so we have provided an inner compound for secure parking.
